On November 11th, 2017 in the occasion of the official presentation in China of the “Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World”, at the Italian Embassy with the presence of the Italian Ambassador in China H.W. Ettore Francesco Sequi, was held the annual special event of promotion of “Made in Italy” organized by 100ITA.

“The World Week of Italian Cuisine aims at promoting Italy as a major country in beauty, culture, taste and cuisine. In the occasion of the official presentation of the Second Edition of World Week of Italian Cuisine in China, we decided to host a very special tasting gala dinner at the Embassy of Italy, organized together with 100ITA, in the spirit of promoting the best tastes while promoting the Italian culinary techniques as distinguished features of Italian identity and culture”

Cristiano Fagioli (100ITA CEO) and his team of 82 people created an event to emotion their guests, “to Italianize them” as it was written in the first page of the menu. Thanks to the creations of Michelin Starred Chefs Eros Picco (restaurant Innocenti Evasioni in Milan), Graziano Caccioppoli (restaurant Maxi in Naples), Stefano Ghetta (restaurant L’Chimpl in Trento) and Alessandro Narducci (restaurant l’Acquolina in Rome), thanks to the amazing big bottles of wines of Avignonesi, Tua Rita, Frescobaldi, Tenuta Sette Ponti and Tosti (in some case made in special edition only for this event) and thanks to an incredible oversized fresh Extra White Truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico, the most expensive truffle in the world) offered by La Madia Regale, the event was memorable.

Probably the most expensive tasting ever realized in all over the world, it was inspired and designed based on the 5 more important “components of the Life and human being”. Every dish was the realization of each one of these components: Aria (Air in Italian), Metallo (Metal in Italian), Acqua (Water in Italian), Luce (Light in Italian) and Amore (Love in Italian); in fact if group the first letter of every word the result will be AMALA that means “Love it”, referred to the life.
