T&L:您觉得2017年中国的高端酒店业市场有何变化?贵公寓如何应对这些变化?
What changes do you think about China's high-end hotel market in 2017?How did your apartment respond to these changes?
Well, the China hotel market rapid rise in the past 10 years and many high-end hotel brands have been established in China as the Chinese people have “strong economic power” and started appreciating the high-end products and services.
Our property brand has always provided a gold standard service residences. We are targeting the high-end customers who wish to experience the luxury service. Therefore, we are ready to respond to these changes.
T&L:越来越多的高端酒店进驻中国市场,竞争也越来越激烈,贵公寓有哪些措施应对激烈的竞争环境?
More and more high-end hotels are entering the Chinese market, leading more and more fierce competition. What measures will you take to deal with the fierce competition environment?
We need to ensure that our products are well maintained, updated with the new technology suitable for our property, innovation & intuitive service to deliver memorable experience to our guests.
T&L:您认为过去一年酒店业在服务创新、管理创新、科技创新等方面有哪些值得关注的案例?
What noteworthy cases of service innovation, management innovation, scientific and technological innovation within hotel industry in the past year?黄俊杰先生:很多的酒店仅在提供高科技产品的业务上不断竞争,但其中一些酒店忽略了如何保持他们的服务质量以及如何打造难忘的入住体验。服务质量不达标,最后客人也不会对这些高科技产品感到满意。酒店管理层需要同时关切技术创新,产品以及服务质量。
Many hotels were racing to provide a new technology innovation and products for the guests, but some of the hotels forget to maintain their quality service to create a memorable guest staying experience. At the end, the guests were still not happy with all those new technology and products as the service was poor. Therefore, the hotel management must take good care of technology innovation, products and quality service in equally.
T&L:酒店与OTA的合作及矛盾是2017年的热点,您个人对此有何看法?
What do you think about the hot issue on the contradiction and cooperation between hotel and OTA in 2017?黄俊杰先生:“双赢”应该是最理想的状态,双方合作应该在互助互利的基础上更加协调。但现实里的合作状态并不是很健康。所以我认为双方应该坐下来好好讨论一个最好的解决方案。
The ideal relationship should be on “win-win” situation, then the cooperation will have more synergy and both parties will enjoy the benefits of the cooperation. But sometimes in reality, the cooperation is not healthy. That’s why the both parties should sit down and discuss to find a better solution for them.
T&L: 2017年贵公寓有哪件事情或成就令您最为难忘?
What’s the most memorable event or accomplishment of your apartment in 2017?黄俊杰先生:2017年9月28日在全球知名的旅业报里,辉盛国际集团被誉为“最佳服务公寓管理者”。我们已经连续五年获此殊荣。早在六月份,辉盛国际集团也在世界旅游大奖中亚洲及澳洲地区得到了其他七个奖项,其中包括最高奖项--澳洲,中国,印尼及韩国地区的 “领先服务公寓品牌”。广州辉盛阁国际公寓在2017年得到Agoda.com颁发的金环奖,同时获得TripAdvisor 的优秀证书。
Frasers Hospitality was recognized as the 'Best Serviced Residence Operator' at the Travel Trade Gazette (TTG) Travel Awards Ceremony on 28 September 2017, that marked the fifth consecutive year that the hospitality group has won the coveted title. Earlier in June, Frasers Hospitality clinched seven other awards at the 2017 World Travel Awards for Asia & Australasia ceremony, including the top honors of 'Leading Serviced Apartment Brand' in Australasia, China, Indonesia and Korea. Fraser Suites Guangzhou received 2017 Golden Circle Awards from Agoda.com and also received the 2017 Excellent Certificate from TripAdvisor.

What will be the focus of your apartment in 2018? Do you have any particular plans or ideas?黄俊杰先生:我们希望能够通过努力不断地为客人,合作伙伴及供应商打造难忘的入住或合作体验。同时我们不断的使用新科技,还有通过创新去提高我们的工作效率,以提高客人满意度。
We hope to work even harder to continue to deliver memorable experiences to all our guests, partners and supporters. And will keep looking for new technology and innovation that can improve our efficiency and service in order to satisfy our guests.

What’s your travel plan in 2018? What’s your personal standard to choose a hotel?黄俊杰先生:商务上我将在中国地区内出行,个人旅行我将可能前往美国,东南亚地区或欧洲。酒店的地理位置,客房价格以及客人在OTA上的评价。
Business trip will be within China regions and personal trip will be going to USA, South East Asia region or Europe. Location of the hotel, room rate and guest’s satisfaction score on OTA.
