智利作为南美洲第一个与中国建交的国家，同中国有着长期友好的外交、经贸往来。如今，智利已经是中国进口新鲜水果的第一大供应国，进口葡萄酒的第三大供应国。自2015年第一届智利周在中国成功举办后，每届都反响不俗。智利周是智利政府在中国举办的规模最大规格最高的官方宣传推介活动，每年都邀请到了中智两国重要领导人以及卓有成就的私人企业代表参会。智利周是智利在中国建立智利国家形象的一项重要活动。
As the first country to establish diplomatic relations with China, Chile has long-term and friendly diplomacy and trade exchanges with China. Nowadays, Chile has been China’s biggest global supplier of fresh fruit, and the third largest supplier of wine. Since the first Chile week was successfully held in China in 2015, each Chile week has been well received. Chile week is the largest and highest quality Official Government promotion campaign organized by the Chilean Government in China. Every year, Chile week could have invited important leaders of China and Chile, as well as successful representatives of private enterprises. It is an important event for Chile to establish its national image in China.
第四届智利周将于2018年11月1日在北京四季酒店拉开序幕，并于11月1-3号在北京、11月4-6号在上海开展系列活动。
The fourth Chile week will be held at Beijing Four Seasons Hotel on November 1st, 2018. And a series of activities will be held in Beijing during November 1st – 3rd and during 4th – 6th in Shanghai.
本次参加智利周的代表团将由智利前总统、亚太特命全权大使爱德华多·弗雷阁下带队。代表团的成员有智利外交部长罗伯托·安普埃罗先生，智利农业部长安东尼奥·沃克先生，智利公共工程部部长胡安·安德烈斯先生、智利贸易副部长罗德里格·亚涅斯先生，智利旅游部副部长莫妮卡·扎拉凯特女士，智利外国投资促进局局长克里斯蒂安·罗德里格斯先生和智利出口促进局局长乔治·欧利安先生及其他政府机构领导人。
The Chile delegation to Chile week will be led by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Chile to Asia Pacific, Mr. Eduardo Frei Ruiz. The members of the delegation include the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, Mr. Roberto Ampuero, the Minister of Agriculture of Chile, Mr. Antonio Walker, the Minister of Public Works of Chile, Mr. Juán Andrés Fontaine, the vice Minister of Trade of Chile, Mr. Rodrigo Yañez, the vice Minister of Tourism, Ms. Mónica Zalaquett, the director of InvestChile, Mr. Cristian Rodríguez, the director of Chilean Trade Promotion Bureau (ProChile), Mr. Jorge O'Ryan and other leaders of goverment agencies.

The Chilean Tourism Promotion and Reception, one of Chile week‘s series campaigns, will be held in Beijing on the afternoon of November 2nd. The vice Minister of Tourism,
Mónica Beatriz Zalaquett, will lead several local travel agencies and hotel to attend the reception. Also, the seminar will invited dozens of Chinese senior travel agencies which manage South American tourism products to attend. The vice Minister of Tourism will promote Chilean sightseeing districts to the appearance honored guests personally. The photographer, Ms.Caze, who publishes Latin America albums, will share to the guests her own experience during her trip in Chile.
自2015年7月智利颁布签证简化政策（凡持有6个月以上有效的美国或加拿大签证的中国公民均可免签入境智利）以来，赴智利的中国游客逐年增加，2017年已达35000人次，同比2016年增长25%。
